DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 29 January 1993
on the issue of banknotes of CZK 200
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
Banknotes of CZK 200 model 1993 (hereinafter referred to as "the banknote") shall be issued for circulation on 8 February 1993.
(1) The banknote is 69 mm wide and 146 mm long. The tolerance allowed in its width and length is ± 1,5 mm. The banknote is printed on a naturally coloured paper with a local tiered watermark and a protective window strip.
(2) The graduated watermark is placed on the 39 mm wide unprinted edge of the banknote (hereinafter referred to as "coupon") and consists of a portrait of J. A. Komenský.
(3) A 1.2 mm wide protective window strip is embedded in a paper in a perpendicular direction to the longer side of the banknote throughout its width, looking from the front in approximately a third of the length of the banknote. On the front side of the banknote, there is always 5 mm on the surface of the paper a silver stripe of 5 mm long, on which there is read negative microtext "200 CZK" or "200 CZK" in the direction from the bottom up.
(4) The banknote shall bear a protective serial number in the form of the letter "C" in which the letter "S" is inserted. Its upper part printed in orange is visible on the front of the banknote on the top right of the protective window strip, the bottom part on the reverse side of the banknote on the top right. The entire brand is visible from both sides of the banknote in the view against the light. When viewed from the reverse side of the banknote, the protective contour mark is sideways inverted.
(1) On the face of the banknote is a portrait of J. A. Komenský in the right part of the print pattern. It is printed from deep brown printing. The name of the depicted person "J. A. KOMENSKÝ" is placed in three rows on the right side of the portrait. It is also printed by printing from deep brown. There is an ornamental surface in the portrait arm for a hidden pattern which, at a certain angle of light impact, creates a dark or bright number "200." From the portrait on the right, there is a denser belt of orange colour in parallel with the longer sides of the banknote, up to 5 mm wide unprinted edge. The number "200" is negative on the belt from top to bottom. The belt and number are printed by printing from the surface. In the top right corner of the banknote there is a tactile mark for blind and weak-sighted. The marker consists of two vertical strips with dimensions of 1 x 8 mm, which are 7 mm apart. The tactile mark is printed by printing from deep brown. At the bottom edge of the banknote on the left is printed in small print from depth in the color brown name of the author of the draft banknote "O. KULHÁNEK INV.," on the right name of the author of the engraving transcription of the portrait "M. ONDRÁČEK SC."
(2) In the left part of the print pattern there is a text on the background of the open book in the floor plan of the town of Naarden in two rows which is placed verbally indicating the denomination of the banknote "THE TWO-STONE CORUNE OF CZECH," under which the name of the emission institute "CZECH NATIONAL BANK" is given in two rows. The signature of the Governor of the Czech National Bank is facsimile under the name of the Emission Institute. The designation of the representative of the Emission Institute by the word "GUVERNER 'shall be placed under the facsimile of its signature. The issue number of the" 1993 "banknote is located to the left of the protective window bar at the bottom of the print pattern. All the above texts are printed by printing from deep brown. The background is printed by printing from the area in orange in combination with the color green, with a small raster in underprint.
(3) In the upper part of the coupon there is a large distinctive number "200" indicating the denomination of the banknote. It is printed by printing from deep brown with white wavy raster.
(1) On the back of the banknote, the combined hands of an adult and child are shown as a symbol of Komenské relation to children and their pedagogical activities against the background of a plant motif arranged in darker and brighter concentrated circles, which are interwoven with an open book labeled "ORBIS PICTUS." The predominant color of the display is orange, combined with the color green. The banknote underprint is made up of a small raster. In parallel with the longer sides of the banknote, a darker bar 22 mm wide is placed over the centre. The colour of the stripe is mostly orange, its saturation is highest at coupon. The state emblem of the Czech Republic is located in the right part of this lane. In the lower left corner of the print pattern is printed in color orange and brown number "200," the area of its digits is filled with a small raster. In parallel to the bottom side of the banknote, the inscription "FAILURE BANKNOTES ARE TREATED BY LAW" is placed in the middle. The color of the inscription is brown. At the lower edge of the banknote, the inscriptions "© CZECH NATIONAL BANK" (left) and "STATE PRESS PRAHA" (middle) and the name of the author of the engraving transcription of the main motif of the reverse side "V. FAJT SC." (right) are printed in small letters in brown. All displayed images and texts are printed by printing from the surface.
(2) The denomination of the series of banknotes in one capital letter of the alphabet and the two-digit number and the six-digit serial number of the banknote shall be printed in a horizontal direction lower right under the national emblem of the Czech Republic and in a vertical direction up in half the shorter side of the banknote at the unprinted edge on the left. Both series descriptions and banknote serial numbers are printed from a height in black. The numbers of the horizontally situated serial number of the banknote are increased from left to right.
(3) The upper part of the coupon is printed by printing from the surface with a large distinctive number "200" indicating the denomination of the banknote. The number color is orange at the top and passes fluently into brown. The area of digits is filled with a small grid.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
