DECLARATION

on the withdrawal of coins after 25 pennies and 3 ccs and the withdrawal of statuses after 5 ccs and 3 ccs
Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic declares pursuant to § 3 paragraph 2 of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll.:
(1) Coins of 25 halves of model 1953 with an old state emblem and a copy of "CZECH REPUBLIC" *) as well as a model 1962 with a new state emblem and a copy of "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" * *) and coins of 3 Ccs * * *) and statuses of 5 Ccs and 3 Ccs with an old state emblem and the inscription of "CZECH REPUBLIC" *) as well as a model 1961 with a new state emblem and the inscription of "CZECHOSKOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" †) shall cease to be legal money on the territory of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic until 31 December 1972.
(2) The coins and statuses referred to in paragraph 1 shall be exchanged between 1 January 1973 and 30 June 1973, including all post offices, branches of state savings banks and branches of the State Bank of Czechoslovakia, between 1 July 1973 and 31 December 1973, including only branches of the State Bank of Czechoslovakia. After 31 December 1973, any exchange of these coins and statuses shall be excluded.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
