DECLARATION

amending Decree No 199 / 1958 of the Ú. l., on the provision and allowance allowance in social care institutions for adults and on remuneration for the work of their residents
The State Social Security Office, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Council of Trade Unions, provides, pursuant to § 66 of Act No. 55 / 1956 Coll., on Social Security:
Decree No 199 / 1958 of the Ú. l., on the allowance for provision and allowance in the care institutions for adults and on remuneration for the work of their residents, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 1 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The contribution to the arrangements in the institutes (hereinafter referred to as the" contribution ') shall be fixed up to their operating costs, according to the economic circumstances of the applicant for admission (inhabitants of the Institute), taking into account his work and other merit. If an applicant for admission (a resident of an Institute) cannot pay an operating allowance equal to his or her operating costs, a supplement may be requested up to this amount from persons who have a maintenance obligation against the applicant (a resident of the Institute), taking into account their social circumstances and their working and other benefits. From retirement or other regular income, residents of the Institute must remain at least 15%, but not less than 50 CZK a month.'
(2) Paragraph 1 (5) and the second sentence of Article 6 are deleted.
The national committees shall review, by 30 September 1963, the contributions to the arrangements paid in the social care institutions for adults (pensioners' homes and institutions for middle-aged persons physically, sensual or mentally defective) and, where appropriate, shall decide on the amount of the allowance again if the economic circumstances of the obliged persons allow the payment of a higher contribution than previously.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
