of 21 June 1978
amending Article 24 (2) of the Constitution of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this constitutional law:
The Constitution of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (Constitutional Act No. 100 / 1960 Coll.) is amended as follows:
The first sentence of Article 24 (2) is replaced by the following:
"The right to education shall be ensured free of charge by the system of primary, secondary and university schools. The attendance of all young people shall be compulsory for the period provided for in the Federal Assembly Act. ';
This constitutional law shall take effect on 1 September 1978.
