on the issue of coins after 5 CZK and the issue of commemorative silver 10kroner "GREAT MORAVA - 1100 YEARS"
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll. and § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
Issue of coins in 5 CZK
On 1 August 1966, coins of 5 CZK ("coins') shall be circulated.
(1) Coins are rolled from copper composed of 80 parts of copper and 20 parts of nickel. The gross weight of the coin is 7 g. The diameter of the coin is 26 mm and its edge is smooth with a repetitive ornament of rhombus - wave, which is made by influence.
(2) In the case of stamping, the tolerance shall be up and down in gross weight 20 / 1000 and in nickel content 10 / 1000.
(1) On the face of the coin is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, around it in two rows the inscription "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." The year of production is listed under the lower edge of the shield of the state emblem.
(2) On the back of the coin is a large "5" in the middle of the marking. The background is represented as a symbol of construction by construction of construction cranes, in the upper left part is a five-pointed star and below the right stylized flower. The abbreviation of the currency unit "Kčs' is placed at the left edge. The author of the coin design is the academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba whose name" HARCUBA "is placed under the figure" 5. "
Issue of commemorative silver 10kroner "GREAT MORAVA - 1100 YEARS"
On the occasion of the opening of the International Congress of Archaeologists in CSSR in August 1966, commemorative silver 10korns are issued, reminiscent of the importance of the Grand Moravian State Department for the creation, consolidation and development of Czechoslovak reciprocity in the territory of our state.
The silver 10korons are raided by an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the 10 crown is 12 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 10-crown is 30 mm, its edge is smooth with the repetitive ornament of the diamond-ellipse, which is made by influence.
(1) On the face of the commemorative silver ten crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, around it the inscription "CZESKOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" and the year of issue "1966" at the bottom.
(2) On the back of the commemorative silver ten crowns are depicted as symbols of the bloom of the state department of Great Moravia in the 9th century plaque with the motif of a falcon on a horse, which comes from archaeological finds in the Old Town of Moravia and underneath the outline of the foundations of the Christian temple in Pohanska near Breclav. It says "GREAT MORAVA - 1100 YEARS" on the lower left. The value designation "10" is on the top right. The design of the silver commemorative ten crown is the work of academic sculptor Luboš Rožiček in graphic cooperation with academic painter and graphic artist Jan Solpera; their names are placed under the outline of the temple.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
