DECLARATION
Ministry of Education of the Czech Socialist Republic
of 18 July 1985
on the supplementary study of higher education students and graduates of higher and secondary education institutions for the acquisition of teaching capacity
The Ministry of Education of the Czech Socialist Republic provides, pursuant to § 98 paragraph 1 (d) of Act No. 39 / 1980 Coll., on Higher Education:
General provisions
(1) Complementary studies under this Decree are a specific type of study at higher education institutions for the acquisition of educational competence for educational activities in schools and school establishments (1) (hereinafter referred to as "educational competence ').
(2) Additional studies give them teaching skills
(a) graduates and students of higher education institutions for teaching subjects which were proficient in the curriculum of the field of study in which they obtained higher education, or which they study,
(b) secondary school graduates, following a non-teaching course which they studied, for practical teaching, for teaching in educational establishments, for education in youth homes and, where appropriate, for teaching vocational subjects in secondary vocational schools.
Admission to study
(1) Applications for supplementary studies (hereinafter referred to as "applications") shall be submitted on forms for proper study at a university.
(2) The applicant submits an application through an organisation to which he is in an employment, member, service or other similar relationship (hereinafter referred to as "employment"), a candidate who is a university student, the Dean of the Faculty at which he studies; if the candidate is not in employment, the local (urban) national committee at his place of residence by 30 November of the current year for the next school year. The organisation, school or national committee shall supplement the application with the personal characteristics of the candidate, including an indication of whether it recommends it to study, and send it to the Dean of the Faculty to which the candidate applies by 28 February of the current year.
(3) The applicant's application shall include a medical certificate of medical fitness for an additional study. The candidate with altered working capacity shall also include an opinion issued by the Social Security Assessment Board of the District National Committee.2)
(4) The Dean of the Faculty decides on the admission of the candidate to the study, taking into account the study results and the personal characteristics of the candidate; Acceptance test.3)
Organisation and course of study
(1) Complementary studies are organised as:
(a) a four-semester study in the course of a non-teaching course at a university; or
(b) a three-semester study at work after graduating from a high school or university; or
(c) a four-semester study which is a combination of the studies referred to in (a) and (b).
(2) The course of study is regulated by special regulations.4)
Termination
(1) Complementary studies shall be completed by successful completion of the final examination before the Examination Board, which shall consist of a chairman and at least two members. The board is appointed by the Dean of the Faculty.
(2) The final test shall take place on one day.
(3) The final examination shall be awarded to the graduate of the diploma, which shall be evidence of the acquisition of teaching capacity. The certificate shall state the classification of the individual subjects of the final examination and the educational capacity acquired by the graduate. The certificate shall be marked on the date of the final examination. 5)
Common, transitional and final provisions
Working allowances and economic security for students
Employers shall be granted work allowances and economic security to the extent specified by specific regulations. 6)
The study considered to be complementary within the meaning of this Decree, which was initiated before its effect, shall be terminated in accordance with the existing rules.
They shall be deleted:
1. the Directive on the acquisition of the teaching capacity of graduates of Fine Arts Universities No 22 658 / 63-IV / 4 of 6 July 1963 (MŠK Bulletin, year 1963, book 21),
2. the Directive for the pedagogical training of teachers of vocational subjects at agricultural, forestry and school schools, No 31 134 / 1964 of 15 July 1964 (Journal of the MŠK, year 1964),
3. guidelines for additional pedagogical study in employment for teachers of folk arts schools no. 19 776 / 68 III / 2 (Bulletin of the MŠK, year 1968, book 19); reg. in the amount of 40 / 1968 Coll.,
4. the Decree of the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic establishing an additional study of the teaching of general subjects, no. 35 115 / 78-31 of 31 January 1979 (Journal of the Ministry of Science and Science of the Czech Republic, 1979, Gazette 3); reg.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 1985.
