determining the scope and extent of other important personal barriers to work
The Government orders pursuant to § 199 (2) of Act No. 262 / 2006 Coll., Labour Code:
Heading and scope of other important personal obstacles at work
The scope and scope of other important personal barriers to work, in which the employer's staff are entitled to leave or leave with compensation for wages or salaries, is set out in the Annex to this Regulation.
Common provision
For the purposes of this Regulation, a spouse shall mean, in addition to a partner who has entered into a partnership under the Civil Code, a partner who has entered into a registered partnership under the Registered Partnership Act, and by marriage in addition to a partnership under Article 655 (2) of the Civil Code, a registered partnership under the Registered Partnership Act.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2007.

Heading and scope of other important personal obstacles at work
1. Examination or treatment
(a) leave of absence with compensation for wages or salaries shall be granted for the period strictly necessary if the examination or treatment has been carried out at a medical institution which is in contractual relationship with the health insurance undertaking chosen by the staff member and which is closest to the place of residence or place of work of the staff member and is capable of providing the necessary medical care (hereinafter referred to as the nearest medical establishment), provided that the examination or treatment has not been carried out outside the working hours.
(b) If the examination or treatment has been carried out in a medical establishment other than the nearest medical establishment, leave of absence shall be granted for the time strictly necessary; However, it shall be for the maximum period referred to in (a) to replace the salary or salary.
2. Medical examination, examination or vaccination related to work
A staff member who has undergone a medical examination, examination or vaccination related to the performance of the work to the extent provided for by specific legislation or by a decision of the competent public health protection authority shall be granted leave for the necessary period of time.
3. Interrupting traffic or delays in mass transport
A leave of absence of compensation shall be granted for the necessary time for unforeseen interruption of traffic or delays in mass means of transport, if the staff member has not been able to reach his place of work in a timely manner.
4. Avoiding travel to work
A staff member who is severely disabled in order to prevent travel to employment by means of the personal means of transport used by that staff member, on account of adverse weather effects, natural events or other exceptional occurrences, shall be granted leave with the necessary period of paid or salary for a period of not more than one day.
5. Marriage
a) Staff leave shall be granted for 2 days for their own wedding, of which 1 day to attend the wedding ceremony; However, it is only for 1 day to pay compensation. If a staff member takes two days' leave, he shall be entitled to compensation only for the day on which he attended the wedding ceremony.
(b) leave with compensation for wages or salaries shall be granted to a staff member for one day to attend the wedding ceremony of his child and, to the same extent, leave shall be granted to the staff member without compensation for the salary or salary to attend the wedding ceremony of his parents.
Compensation of wages or salaries under this item shall also be paid to employees under Section 87a of the Labour Code.
6. Birth of a Child
Employment leave shall be granted for the period necessary.
(a) with compensation for the salary or salary of the spouse (s) to and from the medical establishment;
(b) without compensation of salary or salary to participate in the birth of the spouse.
7. Death
(a) leave with compensation for wages or salaries shall be granted for two days when the spouse, partner or child dies and for another day to attend the funeral of such persons.
(b) Employment leave with compensation for wages or salaries shall be granted for 1 day to attend the funeral and for the following day if the staff member provides the funeral, if it is death
1. parents, grandparents, grandchild or siblings of the staff member,
2. parents, grandparents or siblings of the employee's husband,
3. the spouse of the child of the staff member or of the sibling of the staff member; or
4. another person who lived with an employee at the time of household death.
(c) leave without compensation of salary or salary shall be granted for up to a further 5 days when the spouse, spouse, child, grandchild, parents, grandparents or siblings of the staff member dies.
Compensation of wages or salaries under this item shall also be paid to employees under Section 87a of the Labour Code.
8. Acid
(a) leave to escort a member of the family to a medical institution for examination or treatment in the event of a sudden illness or accident and for a pre-determined examination, treatment or treatment and return shall be granted only to one of the members of the family for the necessary period of time, but not more than 1 day if the escort was necessary and the said operations could not be carried out outside the working hours
1. Reimbursement of salary or salary, if accompanied by a spouse, spouse or child, as well as parents and grandparents of the staff member or his spouse; if the staff member is entitled to sickness benefit, he is not entitled to compensation for salary or salary;
2. without compensation of salary or salary if it is for other family members.
(b) leave to escort a disabled child to social services facilities or to a school or school establishment separately established for pupils with disabilities with boarding and return shall be granted only to one of the members of the family, with compensation for the salary or salary for the necessary period, but not more than 6 working days per calendar year.
(c) leave for the child to be accompanied to a educational institution to identify the special educational needs of the child and to return shall be granted only to one of the members of the family for an essential period of time without compensation of salary or salary.
For the purposes of this point, family members shall mean the natural persons referred to in point 7.
9. Funeral for Co-Staff
Employment leave with compensation for salary or salary shall be granted for the period strictly necessary to staff members attending the funeral of a co-worker; those employees shall be designated by the employer or the employer in agreement with the trade union.
10. Moving
Staff leave without compensation for wages or salaries shall be granted for the period necessary, up to a maximum of 2 days, when the staff member who has his own accommodation is transferred; If there is a transfer in the interests of the employer, leave shall be granted with compensation for wages or salaries.
Compensation of wages or salaries under this item shall also be paid to employees under Section 87a of the Labour Code.
11. Search for a new job
Before the termination of employment, staff members shall be granted leave for the necessary time to seek a new job, namely:
(a) with compensation for a salary or salary within a maximum of 4 days if the employment is to end on the basis of a statement given by the employer under § 52 (a) to (e) of the Labour Code or an agreement concluded for the same reason;
(b) without compensation of a salary or salary within a maximum of 2 days if the employment is to end on the basis of an employer's statement pursuant to § 52 (f) to (h) of the Labour Code or an agreement concluded for the same reason;
(c) without compensation of a salary or salary, within a maximum of 4 days, provided that the employment is to end in a manner other than that referred to in (a) and (b).
The staff member shall be entitled to additional leave without compensation of the salary or salary for the purposes of using the advisory services of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, up to a maximum of 2 days in the cases referred to in points (a) and (c) and a maximum of 1 day in the case referred to in point (b).
Where a staff member draws leave within the scope of part of the shift, he shall be deemed to be exhausted on the whole day of leave.
