DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 12 April 1988
on the issue of commemorative silver 500 crowns on the 20th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Federation
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the 20th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Federation, commemorative silver five hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "five hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Five hundred crowns are rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 crown is 24 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 40 mm. On the edge of it is the inscription "20.
(1) On the face of the five hundred crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it in three rows the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." Under the name of the State, the value "500 CZK 'is in two rows. On the sides of the state emblem there are lipo flips.
(2) On the reverse of the five hundred crown there is a trunk of flowering lashes growing from the outline of the republic, depicted by a three-coloured ribbon. Two branches grow from the linden. The crown of the linden is composed of lime leaves, the composition of which forms a five-pointed star in the middle of the top. At the edge is a copy of "CZESKOSLOVAK FEDERATION 1968-1988."
(3) The author of the proposal is the academic sculptor Jarmila Truhlíková. Her name "J. TRUHLIKÁ" is placed on the back of the oblique bottom right.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 June 1988.
