on the protection zone of the Giant National Park
The Government of the Czech Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 8 paragraph 1 and § 9 of Act No. 40 / 1956 Coll., on State Protection of Nature:
The territory defined in the Annex to this Regulation shall consist of the protection zone of the Giant National Park (1) (hereinafter referred to as the protection zone).
(1) The purpose of the protection zone is to ensure the territory of the Giant National Park and its landscape and natural values against the disruptive effects of the surroundings.
(2) The protection zone shall not be allowed to carry out an economic, construction or other activity contrary to the purpose of the protection zone, in particular:
(a) carry out construction activities contrary to the planning documentation in force;
(b) pollute water streams and other surface waters;
(c) pollute air exhalates;
(d) to place and establish permanent and temporary landfills of waste and waste outside the designated sites;
(e) to camp and set fires outside designated places.
State authorities and organisations shall take decisions and take measures when they affect the protection zone, after consultation with the Krkonose National Park Administration, (2)
(a) consideration of planning documentation or planning documents;
(b) discussion of investment projects and approval of preparatory and project documentation of all buildings and mining works, and of surveys which require land work, even if no authorisation is required, and of mellioration construction, including where it is carried out in a non-investment way (e.g. in maintenance);
(c) territorial management, building authorisation, changes in construction and maintenance work, land modification, work and equipment authorisation,
(d) changes in the boundaries of the agricultural land fund or forestry fund;
(e) the preparation of a proposal for a concept of agricultural development, agricultural management directives, including aggregate land-use adjustment projects and forest management plans;
(f) placing and setting up permanent and temporary landfills of waste and waste;
(g) authorising camping;
(h) organising mass sports and tourism events.
Paragraph 2 (2) shall not apply to construction and installations which were in conformity with the legislation in the protection zone under construction or in use before the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1987.

Definition
Krkonose National Park protection zones
The border of the protection zone begins at the border of the Krkonose National Park on the road I / 14 near Vilémov, continues along this road via Jablonec nad Jizerou, Poniclou, Hrabachev and Valterice to the border of Vrčlábí, further leads to the northern border of Vrchlabí, returning to the road I / 14, continuing along it via Lánov, Clear, Rudník and Hertvikovice to the village of Mladá Buka, from there leading to the road II / 296 to the road II / 300, following it through the village Babi to Žacléra, where it is reconnected to the border of the Krkonošské national park and returning to the starting point at Vilémova.
The maps in the scale 1: 100 000, in which the protection zone is drawn, are deposited with the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Socialist Republic, the State Institute of Heritage Care and Nature Protection in Prague, the East Czech Regional National Committee in Hradec Kralove, the Krkonošský National Park Administration in Vrchlabí, the Regional Planning Department for the Krkonose Region in Vrchlabi, the District National Committee in Trutnov and the Regional National Committee in Semily.
