DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade
of 12 May 1979
prohibiting or restricting exports of certain types of goods in tourist trade
The Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade provides, pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on the State Organisation of Foreign Trade and International Postal Service, and § 38 (1) (a) of Act No. 133 / 1970 Coll., on the jurisdiction of federal ministries:
The goods listed in Annex No 1 to this Decree shall be prohibited from being exported in tourist traffic, except in respect of goods which constitute passengers' travel needs, provided that the type and quantity of such needs correspond to the personal circumstances and length of the journey. 1)
Goods listed in Annex 2, irrespective of their value, may only be exported in tourist contact for export authorisations. 2) Exceptions are those which constitute the travel needs of passengers where the type and quantity of such needs correspond to the personal circumstances and length of the journey. (1) The relief provided for in the export management regulation does not apply to these items. (3)
The administrative fee for granting the export authorisation for the items listed in Annex 2 shall be 100% of the domestic retail price of the thing.4)
The decree shall not apply:
(a) for items which have been procured demonstrably at the Tuzex stores or other organisations authorised to sell for free currency;
(b) goods exported by personnel of foreign representative offices and other bodies enjoying privileges and immunities in the CSSR.

This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 1979.

11. southern fruit (oranges, lemons, greats, bananas, pineapples) and articles thereof
12. knitted and crocheted, including babies' and babies' garments
13. personal linen of woven fabrics, including babies' and babies' garments
14. knitted top dressing, including babies' and babies' garments
15. stockings of any kind, including children's or girls' stockings
16. children's overcoats
17. clothing of leather and fur, including artificial fur
18th cotton fabrics of all kinds
19.
20th diaper
21. Bed linen
22. towels, towels
23. footwear of all kinds
24. gold products
25. Tyres and souls
26. petrol for vehicles registered abroad except petrol in containers firmly incorporated in the vehicle.
