of 19 December 2002
amending Act No. 301 / 2000 Coll., on Matrices, Names and Surnames and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts, as amended by Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 301 / 2000 Coll., on Matrices, Name and Surname and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts, as amended by Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Paragraph 2 (1) (b), the words "authorised office" shall be replaced by "extended office."
2. In Section 4, the words "Authorised Authority 'are replaced by" Extended Authority'.
3. In Paragraph 4 (1), in the introductory part of the text, the words "Authorised Authority 'are replaced by" Extended Authority'.
4. In Paragraph 4 (2), the words "Authorised Authority 'are replaced by" Extended Authority'.
5. In Article 4 (3), the words "Authorised Authority 'are replaced by" Extended Authority';
6. In Paragraph 4 (4), the words "Authorised Authority 'are replaced by the words" Extended Authority'.
7. In Paragraph 4a (1), the words "authorised offices' are replaced by the words" extended offices'.
8. In Paragraph 4a (2), the words "delegated authorities' are replaced by the words" extended authorities'.
9. In Paragraph 4a (3), the words "delegated authorities' are replaced by the words" extended authorities'.
10. in Paragraph 4a (4), the words "authorised office" shall be replaced by the words "extended office."
11. in Article 7 (2), the words "Authorised Office" shall be replaced by the words "Extended Authority";
12. in Article 8 (2), the words "authorised office" shall be replaced by the words "extended office."
13. in Paragraph 8 (3), the words "to the Office by delegation" shall be replaced by "to the Office by extended scope" and the words "to the Office by extended scope" shall be replaced by "to the Office by extended scope."
14. Paragraph 8 (4) reads:
"(4) The extended Office and the Regional Office shall keep and keep up to date a collection of documents. These authorities shall ensure the protection of the collection of documents against misuse of data and destruction or damage. ';
15. in Article 8, the following paragraph 5 is inserted after paragraph 4:
"(5) The Matrix Office, the Extended Authority or the Regional Office shall issue a certificate of the particulars contained in the collection of documents it maintains or stores, provided that the legal interest is proven and that the information cannot be ascertained from the Matrix Book or a statement of the accuracy of the registration in the Matrix Book is raised."
Paragraphs 5 to 7 shall be renumbered paragraphs 6 to 8.
16. in Paragraph 8 (6), in the introductory part of the text, the words "Authorised Authority" shall be replaced by "Extended Authority" and the words "Extended Authority" shall be replaced by "Extended Authority."
17. in Paragraph 9 (1) (c), the words "delegated authority" shall be replaced by the words "extended office."
18. In Article 9 (2), the words "delegated by the Office 'are replaced by the words" extended office' and the words "control 'are replaced by the words" use'.
19. Paragraph 9 (5) reads:
"(5) Matrikár, and also if necessary for the performance of their duties, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Mayor of the City of Prague and Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague, an authorised representative of the City of Prague or the City of Prague or of the City of Prague or the City of the City of Prague, or the City of Prague or the City of Prague or the City of Prague or the City of Prague, shall have access to the personal data contained in the books and collections of documents; (2) even after their duties have ceased. ';
20. In Article 23 (3), in the introductory part of the text, the words "delegated authority 'are replaced by the words" extended authority'.
21. in Paragraph 24 (4), the words "entrusted by the Office" shall be replaced by the words "with extended scope."
22. in Article 25 (1) (b):
'(b) for the official use of the authorities of the State or of the authorities of the local authorities,'.
23. In Paragraph 25, at the end of paragraph 1, the dot is replaced by a comma and the following point (d) is added:
"(d) a natural person who proves that this is necessary for the exercise of his rights before the authorities of the State or the authorities of the local authorities."
24. In Section 28, the words "delegated authority 'are replaced by the words" extended authority'.

The betrothed shall complete the prescribed form before the marriage is concluded and submit it to the Registry in whose administrative district the marriage is to be concluded. '.
26. in Paragraph 33 (2):
"(2) A citizen shall not be obliged to submit the documents referred to in points (b) to (e) of paragraph 1 if the facts referred to therein are verified by the registry of the population, provided that the information system is accompanied by a means enabling remote access, or if the citizen proves them by a citizen's card."
27. in Paragraph 35 (1), point (h) is deleted;
Point (i) shall be renumbered as point (h).
28. In Paragraph 35, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) The fiancé, who is a foreigner, shall submit to the Matrix Office at the latest on the date of the conclusion of the marriage a certificate of the validity of residence in the Czech Republic issued by the Police of the Czech Republic, which may not be more than 7 working days old on the date of the conclusion of the marriage."
Paragraphs 2 and 3 shall become paragraphs 3 and 4.
29. In the first sentence of Paragraph 38, the words "designated office 'are replaced by the words" extended office'.
30. In the heading of Section 52, the words "by an authorised office 'are replaced by the words" by an extended office'.
31. in Article 52, the words "office authorised" shall be replaced by the words "office of extended competence."
32. in Paragraph 55 (1), the words "entrusted by the Office" shall be replaced by the words "extended office."
33.In Paragraph 55 (2), the words "entrusted by the Office 'shall be replaced by" extended office';
34. In the first sentence of Paragraph 55 (3) and the second sentence of the first and second sentences, the words "competent authority 'are replaced by the words" extended authority' and in the third sentence, the words "municipal authority 'are replaced by the words" extended authority'.
35. in Paragraph 55 (4), the words "authorised office" are replaced by the words "extended office."
36. The following Section 81a is inserted after Section 81:
A matrix document which is otherwise to be submitted under this Act to the matrix office shall not be submitted if the relevant matrix event is recorded in the matrix book kept by that office. ';
37. In Paragraph 82, the current text becomes paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) The Matrix Office shall send the death certificate to the court responsible for examining the inheritance; if he is familiar with the narrator of the funeral, he shall mention this in the death certificate. ';
38. In Paragraph 90 (1), the words "delegated authority 'are replaced by the words" extended authority'.
39. in Paragraph 90 (2), the words "the Office by delegation" shall be replaced by the words "the Office by extended scope" and the words "the Office by extended scope."
The Prime Minister is hereby authorised to declare in the Collection of Laws the full text of Act No. 301 / 2000 Coll., on Matrices, Name and Surname and on the amendment of certain related laws, as is apparent from later Laws.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
