DECLARATION
of 18 December 2025
amending the rate of basic refund for the use of road motor vehicles and food and fixing the average price of fuel for the purposes of providing travel refunds for the year 2026
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides according to § 189 (1) of Act No. 262 / 2006 Coll., the Labour Code:
Basic refund rate for the use of road motor vehicles
The rate of basic compensation for 1 km of driving pursuant to Section 157 (4) of the Labour Code shall be:
a) for single-track vehicles and tricycles 1.60 CZK,
b) for passenger road motor vehicles 5.90 CZK.
Disgusting
The amount of the diet provided for in Article 163 (1) of the Labour Code for each calendar day of travel shall be at least:
a) 155 CZK, if the working trip lasts 5 to 12 hours,
b) 236 CZK, if the journey lasts for more than 12 hours, but no more than 18 hours,
c) 370 CZK, if the journey lasts longer than 18 hours.
The amount of the diet provided for in Article 176 (1) of the Labour Code for each calendar day of travel shall be:
a) 155 CZK to 185 CZK, if the business trip lasts 5 to 12 hours,
b) 236 CZK to 284 CZK, if the work journey lasts for more than 12 hours, but no more than 18 hours,
c) 370 CZK to 442 CZK, if the journey lasts longer than 18 hours.
Average fuel price
The amount of the average fuel price under § 158 (3) of the Third Labour Code is:
(a) CZK 34.70 per litre of automotive gasoline 95 octane,
b) 39 CZK per 1 litre of car gasoline 98 octane,
(c) CZK 34.10 per litre of diesel fuel,
d) CZK 7.20 per kilowatt hour of electricity.
Repeal
Decree No. 475 / 2024 Coll., amending the basic rate of refund for the use of road motor vehicles and food and determining the average price of fuel for the purposes of providing travel refunds for the year 2025, is hereby repealed.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2026.
