of 18 December 1956
on sickness insurance and pension insurance for members of production cooperatives.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders according to § 90 of Act No. 55 / 1956 Coll., on Social Security:
Purpose of the regulation.
The purpose of this Regulation is to secure members of production cooperatives in the event of sickness (sickness insurance) and in the event of old age, invalidity and loss of the provider (pension insurance).
Personal range.
This Regulation shall apply to members of production cooperatives ("cooperatives') and their family members.
A material range.
Save as otherwise provided for in this Regulation, social security provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis to sickness insurance for members of cooperatives and their family members.
Sick insurance.
The sickness insurance authorities.
(1) The sickness insurance of members of cooperatives is carried out by the Central Association of Production Cooperatives and its subordinate cooperative organisations and cooperatives.
(2) The sickness insurance benefits of members of cooperatives are decided by a special body established by them.
Rehabilitation in sickness insurance.
The decision on sickness insurance benefits (§ 4 (2)) may refer to the Regional Association of Production Cooperatives and its decision to the Central Association of Production Cooperatives; the decision of this Union is final.
The tasks of the cooperative in retirement care.
The cooperative shall perform in the pension scheme of its members the tasks imposed on employers by social security regulations.
Implementing regulations.
The details for the implementation of this Regulation shall be laid down in the Official Journal of the European Union.
(a) the Central Association of Production Cooperatives in agreement with the Central Council of Trade Unions as regards sickness insurance for members of production cooperatives;
(b) the State Social Security Office as regards their pension insurance.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1957; they shall be carried out by the Prime Minister and the President of the State Social Security Office.
