Decret of the President of the Republic on the salary and on the part of members of the Government of the Czech Republic

Decret of the President of the Republic
of 22 August 1945
on the salary and the emoluments of members of the Government.
On the proposal of the Government and in agreement with the Slovak National Council, I establish:
§ 1.
The Prime Minister's salary is 120.000 K, the Deputy Prime Minister's salary is 100.000 K and the salary of the other members of the Government is 80.000 K per year.
§ 2.
In addition to the salary, members of the government have an increase of 80,000 K per year.
§ 3.
(1) The Prime Minister has a representative addition of 140.000 K, Deputy Prime Ministers, Foreign Ministers, Foreign Trade and Information 120.000 K and other members of the Government 100,000 K per year.
(2) If the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Minister of Foreign Affairs or the Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Trade represents the Minister of Foreign Trade for more than one month, their representative allowance shall be increased for the period of representation to the amount corresponding to the annual representative allowance of 120.000 K.
§ 4.
(1) The payment of service, rest or functional income from public service contracts or public service contracts to members of the Government shall be suspended during the term of office of the Government.
(2) Otherwise, a member of the government may not be involved in any damage to his (employment) and salary ratios to a member of the government.
§ 5.
(1) The salary and emoluments of the President and other members of the Government shall be paid in monthly, pre-due amounts.
(2) The right to pay the salary and the action and representation allowance arises on the date on which a member of the Government was appointed and ceases, subject to the provisions of paragraph 3, at the end of the month in which he left the Government.
(3) Members of the Government are entitled to a salary and to an action and representation allowance for three months after leaving the Government; If membership ends with the death of a member of the government, that entitlement shall be granted to his estate.
§ 6.
The President of the Republic, acting on a proposal from the Government, shall establish an honorary government salary for the former member of the Government from the date on which his benefits of membership cease.
§ 7.
(1) This Decree shall take effect on 4 April 1945; at the same time, the Law of 20 December 1918, No. 94 Coll., on the salaries of ministers, as amended by the regulations amending it and supplementing it, expires.
(2) All members of the Government shall implement the Decree.
