on the update of the Currency and Fund Numbers (ČMF)
The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to Article 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, announces, with effect from 1 January 2026, the update of the Currency Numbers and Funds (CMF), established by Communication No. 525 / 2002 Coll., on the issue of the updated Currency Numbers and Funds (CMF), and updated by Communication No. 513 / 2004 Coll., Communication No. 412 / 2011 Coll., Communication No. 332 / 2015 Coll., Communication No. 206 / 2016 Coll., Communication No. 419 / 2016 Coll., Communication No. 450 / 2017 Coll., Communication No. 114 / 2018 Coll., Communication No. 313 / 2018 Coll., Communication No. 169 / 2022 Coll.
The currency and fund code list (CMF) is updated following an amendment to the international standard ISO 4217 published on its website by the International Organisation for Standardisation. The subject of the update is the cancellation of the currency "Bulgarian lion" with the alphabetical code BGN and numerical code 975.
The valid version of the updated Monetary and Fund Numbers (ČMF) will be available on the website of the Czech Statistical Office at https: / / csu.gov.cz.
