GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 8 March 2000
increasing life-minima
The Government orders pursuant to Section 7 of Act No. 463 / 1991 Coll., on Life Minimal, as amended by Act No. 289 / 1997 Coll.:
The amount of the minimum of life that is considered necessary under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure the nutrition and other basic personal needs of the citizen, (2) is monthly
(a) CZK 1,600 for children under 6 years of age;
(b) CZK 1,780 if it is a child aged between 6 and 10,
(c) CZK 2 110 if the child is between 10 and 15 years of age,
(d) CZK 2 310 if the child is not provided from 15 to 26 years of age,
(e) CZK 2,190 for other citizens.
The amount of the minimum of life that is deemed to be required under the Life Minimum Act (1) shall be:
(a) CZK 1,580, if it is an individual,
b) CZK 2,060 if 2 people live in the household,
c) CZK 2,560 if 3 or 4 people live in the household,
(d) CZK 2,870, if 5 or more people live in the household.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 April 2000.
