on amendments to Decree No. 130 / 1984 Coll., implementing the Law on maternity allowance
The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides, in an agreement with the Central Council of Trade Unions and the competent central authorities under Section 16 of Act No. 107 / 1971 Coll., on the maternity allowance:
The Decree of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs No. 130 / 1984 Coll., implementing the maternity allowance law, is amended as follows:
1. § 2 is deleted.
2. Paragraph 3 is renumbered § 2 and the sentence under § 2 reads:
"Paragraph 2 (3) of the Act."

Article 5 (1) of the Law
A maternity allowance of two or three years of age of a child shall also apply where, between the time of birth of that child and the date of the granting of the maternity allowance to that child, another child [Paragraph 2 (2) (a) of the Law] died, completed compulsory education or the preparation for a future occupation, reached 26 years of age, ceased to be disabled or the need for permanent care for them ceased. '
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 1987.
