on the binding nature of a collective agreement of a higher degree
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 2 / 1991 Coll., on collective bargaining, as amended by the Constitutional Court found under No. 199 / 2003 Coll. and Act No. 255 / 2005 Coll., states that the collective agreement of higher degree, concluded on 21 January 2005 between the Union of Workers of Glass, Ceramic, Jewelry and Porcelain, on the one hand, and the Association of Glass and Ceramic Industry of the Czech Republic on the other hand, is binding on other employers with the predominant activity in the sector identified by the Sectoral Classification of Economic Activities 26.1, 26.21, 26.22.
The content of the collective contract of higher degree and Appendix 1, 2, 3, 4 can be found at the Labour Office and on the website of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (www.mpsv.cz).
