of 18 January 1990
on the introduction of summer time between 1990 and 1992
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 1 of Act No. 54 / 1946 Coll., on Summer Time, and to implement the Labour Code after discussion with the Central Council of Trade Unions:
§ 1
The beginning and end of summer time between 1990 and 1992
(1) Summer time is introduced in 1990 on 25 March, in 1991 on 31 March and in 1992 on 29 March. These days, at the second hour of Central European time, the clock will shift to the third hour of summer time.
(2) Summer time ends in 1990 on 30 September, in 1991 on 29 September and in 1992 on 27 September. In these days, the third hour of summer time will shift the clock to the second hour of Central European time.
§ 2
Impact of summer time on fixed weekly working hours
(1) The fixed weekly working hours for workers who, from 1990 to 1992, fall into their working shift, if the work shift is reduced as a result of the introduction of summer time, will be one hour shorter in the week in question.
(2) The fixed weekly working hours for workers whose end of summer time between 1990 and 1992 will be one hour longer on their shift if such working hours are extended as a result of the end of summer time.
§ 3
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
