DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 12 April 1988
on the issue of commemorative silver storeys for the World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA 1988
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the occasion of the World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA 1988, commemorative silver hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Hunting from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of the stocron is 13 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 31 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of the hundred crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the middle of the top and around it in an unclosed copy the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." Under the national emblem, there is "100 CZK" in one row and "1988" in the second year.
(2) On the back of the stokron is depicted a rhombus in the form of a stylized stamp four block with a hint of grafting, divided into four other serrated rhombus. In the upper square there is the Cathedral of St. Vitus, in the right palace "At the Hyberns" and in the left side of the facade of the Downstairs Palace in the Park of Culture and rest of Julius Fuchík. In the square below is the emblem of the World Stamp Exhibition marked "PRAGA '88." On the sides of the four block is the divided inscription "GLOBAL EXHIBITION OF POSTAL NOTES" and four lime petals.
(3) The author of the proposal is the academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl. The initials of his name "V-O" are on the reverse in the middle of the mine.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 1988.
