Government Regulation
of 31 July 1945
authorising the Minister for Agriculture to take measures in agricultural production.
With the consent of the President of the Czechoslovak Republic, the Government hereby orders, pursuant to § 138, paragraph 1 of the Act of 13 May 1936, No 131 Coll., on State Defence:
(1) In order to ensure agricultural production of plant, animal and forest production, including hunting, the Minister of Agriculture is hereby authorised to take all necessary measures in agreement with the ministers involved concerning such agricultural production.
(2) The regulations of a general nature, issued in accordance with the authorisation referred to in paragraph 1, shall be published by the Minister for Agriculture in the Official Journal of the Republic of Czechoslovakia.
Infringements issued pursuant to Paragraph 1 (2) shall be prosecuted and punished by the district national committees - without prejudice to any prosecution - by a fine of up to 50,000 K or by imprisonment within 6 months. In the event of non-compliance with the fine, either a replacement prison sentence is imposed at the same time according to the rate of guilt within 6 months. These penalties may also be imposed at the same time, while the punishment on the free side, together with the replacement punishment, may not be more than 6 months.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication and shall apply until 31 July 1946; they shall be implemented by the Minister for Agriculture in agreement with the Ministers involved.
