of 17 November 1992
on the increase in pensions in 1993
The Czech National Council decided on this law:
Increase in pensions granted before 1 January 1993
Old-age, invalidity, partial invalidity, in service of years, widower's and orphan's pensions awarded before 1 January 1993 are increased by 10% of the monthly pension payable to the citizen on the date on which the pension is increased pursuant to § 9 and 10 of Act No. 46 / 1991 Coll.
Increase in pensions granted in 1993
Old-age, invalidity, partial invalidity, in service of years, widower's and orphan's pensions granted from 1 January 1993 to 31 December 1993 shall be increased by 22% of the monthly pension to which a citizen has been entitled under the Social Security Act (1) or other social security legislation (2) on the date of the pension award, pursuant to Sections 9 and 10 of Act No. 46 / 1991 Coll.
Increase in widower pensions
(1) The amount of the widower's pension, according to Section 48a of the Social Security Act (1), is 750 CZK per month from 1 March 1993.
(2) The widow's pensions paid on 1 March 1993 shall be adjusted in accordance with paragraph 1 from the payment of the pension due after 28 February 1993.
Common provisions
(1) The increase in pension is also above the highest pension or total of pensions and above the highest pension or total of pensions and the increase in pension for helplessness; However, the amount of the pension or the total of the pensions, including the increase in the pension for helplessness, must not exceed the amount of CZK 4200 per month after the increase under this law.
(2) Paragraph 2 (4), § 5 (1) and (3), § 6, 7 and 8 of Act No. 46 / 1991 Coll., on the increase of pensions apply mutatis mutandis.
(3) Widows' and orphans' pensions are not increased in accordance with Sections 1 and 2 if they have been calculated from pensions raised under this Act.
Efficacy
This Law shall take effect on 1 January 1993.
