GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 10 December 2025
concerning awards awarded by the Government of the Czech Republic
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
Subject matter
This regulation regulates awards awarded by the Government of the Czech Republic in the field of state administration and the conditions for granting them.
Valuation awarded
(1) The Office of the Government of the Czech Republic can award as an award
(a) the quality price in the administration; and
(b) The official act of the year.
(2) The award for quality in the administration consists of a diploma. There can also be other material awards worth up to CZK 10,000.
(3) The official act of the year is a plaque and a diploma. There can also be other material awards worth up to CZK 10,000.
Valuation award
(1) The price of quality in public administration is awarded to the Service Office under the Civil Service Act for the use of modern quality management procedures in public administration.
(2) The official act of the year is awarded to a civil servant under the Civil Service Act, to another staff member in the Service Office under the Civil Service Act or to an employee of a local authority who has contributed significantly to improving the performance of the public administration by his personal approach, innovative procedure or good practice.
(3) The Office of the Government of the Czech Republic ensures the organisational, technical and financial conditions associated with the award.
Valuation transmission
(1) The award for quality in the administration is handed over by the Secretary-General of State on the occasion of the award ceremony within the Ken Ministry of Interior for Quality and Innovation in the Public Administration pursuant to a government regulation governing the award awarded by the Ministry of Interior once in a calendar year.
(2) The official act of the year shall be transmitted by the Secretary-General of State at the formal transmission of the award once in a calendar year.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 January 2026.
