amending Government Regulation No. 126 / 1962 Coll., setting up Interrugation Commission and implementing the Act on artificially interrupted pregnancy, as amended by Government Decree No. 95 / 1964 Coll.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic provides, pursuant to Article 45 of Act No. 65 / 1960 Coll., on National Committees, and under Act No. 68 / 1957 Coll., on artificial abortion:
Government Regulation No. 126 / 1962 Coll., setting up the Interrugation Commission and implementing the Act on artificially interrupted pregnancy, as amended by Government Decree No. 95 / 1964 Coll., is hereby amended as follows:
Article 8 reads:
A woman applying for an artificial termination of pregnancy shall contact either directly or through her attending physician the head of the women's department of any hospital with a clinic in the district where she resides, or where her place of residence or the school she visits is situated and shall inform him of the reason for her application. If there is not a hospital in the district with a clinic, they will contact the head of the women's ward of the clinic.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1966.
