Czech National Council
of 6 March 1990
amending the title of the Czech Socialist Republic
The Czech National Council decided on the following constitutional law:
Článek 1
The title "Czech Socialist Republic 'is changed to" Czech Republic'.
Článek 2
If the name of the Czech Socialist Republic is given in the current constitutional and other laws, this is understood as the Czech Republic.
Článek 3
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
