on uniform provisions concerning the approval of motor vehicles with regard to external noise (Regulation No 9)
Pursuant to the Agreement on the adoption of uniform conditions for homologation (verification of conformity) and the mutual recognition of the homologation of motor vehicle equipment and components, Geneva, 20 March 1958 (Agreement published under No 176 / 1960 Coll.), the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has informed the Secretary-General of the United Nations that it will apply in future the Uniform provisions concerning the approval of motor vehicles in terms of external noise (Regulation 9).
The approved approval test according to this Regulation is the Institute for Research of Motor Vehicles, Prague 8, Distillery 12.
For the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, Regulation No 9 entered into force on 1 March 1969.
