Federal Ministry of Finance

on the issue of silver commemorative hundreds for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jan Neruda
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jan Neruda, silver commemorative hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Hunting from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of the hundred koruna is 9 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 29 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of the Stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it is the value designation "100 Kčs." In the copy from the right in the closed outer and unclosed inner circle from the left is the name of the State "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC."
(2) On the back of the stokoruna is a portrait of Jan Neruda, on the left house "At the Two Suns" in Nerudova Street on the Malá Strana, and under it the years "1834" and "1984." On the right under the portrait is the name "JAN NERUDA" in an unclosed copy.
(3) The author of the hundred crown design is the well-deserved artist Zdeněk Kolářský, the initials of his name "ZK" are next to the portrait on the right.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
