Constitutional Law on the extension of the term of office of judges of regional and regional courts

CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 27 May 1970
extending the term of office of judges of county and county courts
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this constitutional law:
Článek I
(1) The term of office of judges of regional and district courts shall end on the date on which, pursuant to Constitutional Law No 155 / 1969 Coll., amending and supplementing the title of the eighth Constitution, the number of judges of the individual court which the Minister of Justice of the Republic concerned declares sufficient to ensure the most necessary functioning of the court shall be elected by 31 December 1971 at the latest.
(2) The provisions of the previous paragraph also concern judges of regional courts who have been elected pursuant to Constitutional Law No. 81 / 1968 Coll., which temporarily regulates certain issues of the election of judges, as amended by Constitutional Law No. 57 / 1969 Coll.
(3) Paragraph 1 does not apply to the election of judges after 1 January 1970.
Článek II
Paragraph 4 (1) and (2) of Constitutional Law No 155 / 1969 Coll. does not apply to regional and district courts.
Článek III
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
