THE LAW
of 14 November 2002
on the granting of a State guarantee to the Czech Republic for a loan to finance the purchase of railway wagons provided by EUROFIMA
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
(1) The Czech Republic will provide a State guarantee to guarantee the European Railway Vehicle Financing Company EUROFIMA credit, which will provide a loan to ČD under a credit agreement for ČD public limited company to finance the purchase of passenger railway wagons and electric units of the 471 series for suburban transport of ČKD Vagonky, a. s., Ostrava.
(2) The State guarantee referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted for the principal of a loan of EUR 15 000 000 and the interest and charges associated with the granting of a loan under the credit agreement, provided that the loan is due by 31 December 2013.
(3) The Treaty providing for a State guarantee under this Act is negotiated on behalf of the Czech Republic by the Minister for Finance.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 2003.
