DECLARATION
of 1 December 2025
on the definition of the model of the service card, the model of the employee card and the method of proving competence by means of the service pass to the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic and amending Decree No. 407 / 2015 Coll. (Fire Rescue Corps Card Order)
According to § 18 (b) of Act No. 320 / 2015 Coll., on the Fire Department of the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain laws (Act on the Fire Department):
Model of service card, model of employee card and method of proving competence with service pass to the Czech Fire Department
Licence models
(1) The model of a national's service card is set out in Annex 1 to this Order.
(2) The model of the staff member's licence is set out in Annex 2 to this Order.
Proof of jurisdiction by service pass
A member shall demonstrate his / her competence with the fire brigade with a service pass by submitting to the front of his / her service card for inspection without giving him / her his / her hand. A member of the service in civil clothing may also prove his / her competence to the fire brigade by placing his / her service card on the left side of his / her chest or by hanging him / her neck in such a way that his / her face is visible.
Modification of the equipment decree of the fire brigade
Decree No 407 / 2015 Coll., laying down the types and models of service uniforms of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic, the manner of designation of belonging to the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic and distinguishing marks, the models of service cards and employee cards and the method of demonstration of competence by the service pass and the models of the large and small signs of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic and the essential characteristics characterising the battalion of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic, is amended as follows:
1. The title of the law reads: "The Decree on the determination of the types and models of service uniforms of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic, the method of designation of belonging to the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic, the distinguishing mark and the small sign of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic and the essential characteristics characterising the battalion of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Czech Republic (Fire Rescue Corps)."
2. Part two is deleted.
(3) Annexes 9 and 10 are deleted.
Transitional provision
The staff member's or employee's card issued under Decree No 407 / 2015 Coll. before the date of entry into force of this Order may be used until 31 December 2027.
EFFECTIVE
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2026.

Model of service cards
1. Requirements
a) The service card is a double-sided plastic card with dimensions 85 x 55 mm.
(b) The face side of the service card is light blue, and on the top of the card, the first line in the red and blue background is marked in white with the inscription "HASICAN SAFEGUARD CARD OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC." The second line on the right shows the black surname of the member. The third line on the right shows the name of the member in black. On the fourth line, a member's personal registration number is shown in the middle in black figures. The fifth line is marked in the middle in a dark blue colour with the inscription "COMPETENT 'on the right in black, the inscription" Validity from:' and the date of the start of validity of the service card in the format DD. MM. YYYY. In the left part of the service card there is a black and white representation of the member. There's a large state emblem in the central section with a security hologram. In the right lower part is white depicted a large emblem of the Fire Department of the Czech Republic.
c) A contact chip is located on the dark blue reverse side of the service card on the left. In the center of the reverse side there is a large emblem of the Fire Department of the Czech Republic. The right lower corner of the reverse side is equipped with yellow and white shrafting. At the bottom of the reverse of the service card, in light of the blue background, the serial number of the service card shall be indicated in black letters and figures.

Model of employee card
1. Requirements
a) The employee card is a double-sided plastic card with dimensions 85 x 55 mm.
(b) The face side of the staff member's licence shall be in red, the upper side of which shall be marked in white on the first line in the red and blue background, with the inscription "HASICAN SAFETY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC." The second line on the right shows the black surname of the employee. The third line on the right shows the name of the employee in black. On the fourth line, the number of the staff member shall appear in the middle in black figures. The fifth line is marked in red in the middle "EMPLOYMENT," on the right black in "Validity from:" and in black digits, the date of entry of the employee's licence in DD. MM. YYYY. There is a black and white image of the employee on the left side of the employee card. There's a large state emblem in the central section with a security hologram. In the right lower part is white depicted a large emblem of the Fire Department of the Czech Republic.
c) A contact chip is placed on the dark blue reverse side of the employee card on the left. In the center of the reverse side there is a large emblem of the Fire Department of the Czech Republic. The right lower corner of the reverse side is equipped with yellow and white shrafting. In the lower part of the reverse side of the staff member's licence, the red background shall bear the serial number of the service card in black letters and figures.
