DECLARATION
Minister for Finance
of 9 April 1968
on the issue of commemorative silver coins
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) For the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the National Museum in Prague, commemorative silver 25 crowns are issued.
(2) The silver memory 25 crowns is driven from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of 25 kroner is 16 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the twenty-five crown is 34 mm, its edge is smooth with repeating ornament made of crosses in two positions, which is made by influence.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, under it in three horizontal lines the inscription "CZESKOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC," quite below the flap of the flower. A "PATRIAE DECORI CIVIBUS EDUCANDIS" is placed in an unclosed circle.
On the back of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown is the building of the National Museum in Prague from a bird's eye view. In an unclosed circle there is a copy of "NATIONAL MUZEUM 1818-1968," below the building on the right is a description of the value "Kčs 25." The design of the commemorative silver 25 crown is the work of academic sculptor Milan Knobloch; His name "M. KNOBLOCH" is located in the lower right part of the displayed building.
(1) The 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the National Theatre in Prague is the issue of the commemorative silver ten crowns.
(2) The silver 10krones are driven by an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the 10 crown is 12 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 10-crown is 30 mm, its edge is smooth with repeating ornament made of crosses in two positions, which is made by influence.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver ten crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, under which the designation of the value "10." A copy of the "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" is placed in an almost closed circle.
On the back of the commemorative silver ten crown, a part of the National Theatre building - the Ancient Trojjsdam (triga), controlled by a woman with a branch in her right hand, is shown in the side view. Under the three-way, the horizontal lines are "1868-1968." The copy "NATIONAL DIVADLO IN PRAGUE" is placed at the left edge of the coin. The design of the silver commemorative ten crown is the work of academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba whose name "HARCUBA" is placed at the right edge of the coin.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
