of 23 September 1952
on the provision of preventive and medical care to military and war victims and victims of war and fascist persecution.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders according to § 16 paragraph 3 of Act No. 103 / 1951 Coll., on Uniform Prevention and Treatment Care:
§ 1.
(1) The State provides free preventive and medical care to the following pensioners according to Act No. 164 / 1946 Coll., on care for military and war damages and war victims and fascist persecution:
(a) to disabled persons who have been provided for a reduction of at least 45% of their gainful capacity and to members of their families who are considered to be persons referred to in Section 54 of the National Insurance Act;
(b) in particular justified cases also to other pensioners under Act No. 164 / 1946 Coll., if they cannot be incorporated into work.
(2) The persons referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted free of charge preventive and medical treatment to the extent of benefits in kind provided to pensioners under the National Insurance Act, unless they are already entitled to such benefits under other provisions.
(3) Prostheses or other orthopaedic aids needed to mitigate or eliminate the consequences of damage, accessories of such prostheses or aids and their repair shall be provided by the State free of charge to disabled persons who have been provided with a reduction in their professional capacity of at least 25% to the present extent.
§ 2.
(1) Preventive and medical care as referred to in Article 1 (1) and (2) is provided in the health care establishments of the State for vouchers issued by local national committees responsible for the place of residence.
(2) Prosthetic care as referred to in Article 1 (3) shall be provided for the licences issued by the State Pension Insurance Office.
§ 3.
The details are set out by the Ministry of Health in agreement with the Ministry of National Defence and the State Pension Service.
§ 4.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1953; they shall be carried out by the Minister for Health in agreement with participating members of the Government.
