of 25 August 1945
on the deadline for submitting applications for the return of Czechoslovak citizenship to Czechoslovak citizens' wives and children.
Pursuant to Section 3 of the Constitutional Decree of the President of the Republic of 2 August 1945, No 33 Coll., on the regulation of Czechoslovak citizenship of persons of German and Hungarian nationality, I declare that the six-month period for applying for the return of Czechoslovak citizenship by the spouses and minors of Czechoslovak nationals (§ 4, paragraph 2) begins on the date on which that decree becomes effective, i.e. on 10 August 1945.
The deadline for the submission of applications for the return of Czechoslovak citizenship to others in § 3 of the Decree will be determined retrospectively; applications submitted before the start of the period shall be deemed to have been submitted.
