COMMUNICATION
Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that on 26 June 1992 the Agreement between the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and the Government of Mongolia on visa-free contacts for holders of diplomatic and service passports was signed in Ulanbatar.
The Arrangement entered into force on 26 July 1992 pursuant to Article 6 (2) thereof. This date expired the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Mongol People's Republic on the reciprocal visa-free travel of the nationals of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and of the nationals of the Mongolian People's Republic of 20 December 1976 and the Additional Protocol, published in OJ No 41 / 1977 Coll.
Czech version The arrangement shall be announced simultaneously.
ARRANGEMENTS
between the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and the Government of Mongolia on visa-free contacts for holders of diplomatic and service passports
Whereas the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and the Government of Mongolia (hereinafter referred to as the "Parties') recognise friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples;
and whereas the lifting of the existing visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and service passports is considered desirable for further strengthening cooperation between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and Mongolia;
the Contracting Parties agree on the following:
Nationals of Contracting Parties holding valid diplomatic or service passports may enter the territory of the other Contracting Party and stay without a visa for three months.
1. Members of a diplomatic mission or consular post of one of the Contracting Parties in the territory of the other Contracting Party and their family members, if they hold a valid diplomatic or service passport, may enter and reside in the territory of the other Contracting Party without a visa during their secondment.
2. The above law also applies to citizens with valid diplomatic and service passports who are representatives of international organisations located in the territory of one of the Contracting Parties and to their family members.
With this The arrangement shall be without prejudice to the right of the competent authorities of the Contracting Parties to refuse entry or residence of persons whose presence in the territory of the other Contracting Party is undesirable.
1. Each Contracting Party may, for reasons of public policy, safety or health protection, suspend, in whole or in part, the implementation of this Arrangement.
Such a measure and its termination shall be notified without delay by diplomatic channels to the other Contracting Party.
The Contracting Parties shall, through diplomatic channels, provide each other with models of new or amended diplomatic and service passports, including data on their applicability, at least 30 days before their entry into force.
1. This Arrangement shall be negotiated for an indefinite period.
This Arrangement shall enter into force 30 days after its signature. The Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the People's Republic of Mongolia on the reciprocal visa-free travel of nationals of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and nationals of the Mongolian People's Republic of 20 December 1976 and the Additional Protocol will cease to apply.
3. Any amendment to this Arrangement agreed upon by both Parties shall enter into force by exchange of notes.
4. This Arrangement may be denounced by one of the Contracting Parties by a written notification to the other Contracting Party three months in advance by diplomatic channels.
In evidence of this signature, duly authorised by their governments, they signed and confirmed the Arrangement.
Done at Ulanbátar, in duplicate, each in the Czech and Mongolian languages, both texts being equally authentic, on 26 June 1992.
