of 3 March 2022
on the issue of a commemorative banknote of CZK 100 model 2022 with the motif of building Czechoslovak currency
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
§ 1
On 30 March 2022 a commemorative banknote of CZK 100 model 2022 (hereinafter referred to as "the banknote") is issued for the construction of the Czechoslovak currency.
§ 2
(1) The banknote is 84 mm wide and 194 mm long. The tolerance in its width shall be 1,5 mm and 1,5 mm in length. The banknote is printed on a naturally coloured paper with a local tiered watermark, a white watermark and a protective strip.
(2) The tiered watermark is placed on the unprinted edge of the banknote (hereinafter referred to as the coupon) and consists of a portrait of Karl Engliš. In addition to the tiered watermark with the portrait of Karel Engliš, the white watermark indicates the value "100" and the flower of the anemone.
(3) A 1,4 mm width protective strip is embedded in paper in a perpendicular direction to the long side of the banknote throughout its width, when viewed from the face side in its right half. In the light of light there is read the recurring negative microtext "1880 - 1961" and two triplets.
(4) The banknote shall bear a protective lining mark in the middle of the lower part of the printing pattern of the face and reverse side in the form of lines and surfaces in the circle. In the light against the light, the lines and surfaces of the serial number from both sides of the banknote are combined in stylized letters KE.
(5) Banknote paper used for the printing of banknotes is provided with visible orange protective fibres of approximately 6 mm in length.
(6) On both the front and back sides of the banknote are printed on a yellow circle.
§ 3
(1) On the face of the banknote is a portrait of the Czechoslovak Minister of Finance and later governor of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia Karl Engliš in the left part of the print pattern. It is printed by printing from depth in dark brown. The text "KAREL ENGLIŠ" is placed to the left of the portrait and is also printed by printing from depth in color dark brown. On the right of the portrait is the building of the headquarters of the Czech National Bank in Prague with the statue of Whitelighter with a lion, which is printed by printing from the area in shades of green, ochre and brown colour. Around the sculpture, there is a recurring positive and negative microtext with the names of the central bank representatives in 1919 - 2022. In the lower part of the building there is a hologram with motif of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk III class pattern 1990 with portrait of T. G. Masaryk from left profile. To the right of the building, a part of Silesian eagle in shades of dark brown colour is printed from depth. At the lower edge of the banknote on the left is printed in small print from depth in the colour of the dark brown name of the author of the graphic design "EVA HAŠKOVÁ INV." on the right name of the engraver "MARTIN SRB SC."
(2) In the right part of the print pattern there is a text in two rows indicating the denomination of the "STO KORUNA ČESKÝ" banknote, below which there is a text in two rows indicating the name of the emission bank "CZECH NATIONAL BANK." The area of the letters of the word "STO 'is completed with the repetitive microtext" STO'. To the right of the hologram is the designation of the representative of the emission bank by the text "GUVERNER 'and facsimile of its signature. This year's issue of the" 2022 "banknote is placed under" GUVERNER. "All of the above texts are printed by printing from depth in colour dark brown. On the belt at the right edge of the banknote the number" 100 "and the repetitive microtext" 100 "is negative. The printing of the banknote is printed by printing from the area with small raster in shades of green, brown and ochre colour.
(3) The upper part of the coupon is printed by printing from the depth in the shades of the green colour the value number "100" indicating the denomination of the banknote. The area of digits is filled in with a repetitive microtext "KE." The bottom of the coupon is printed in a circular area by printing from depth in the colour of a dark brown anemone flower. In a circular area with anemone flower there is a hidden pattern, which, at a certain angle of light impact, creates a dark or bright number "100."
§ 4
(1) On the reverse of the banknote is printed a picture of a couple of Gigants from the facade of the Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague. The facade of the Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague, the former seat of the Ministry of Finance of the Czechoslovak Republic, is printed on the left of the picture of a couple of Gigants. There is a large national emblem of the Czech Republic on the left of the sculpture upstairs. The facade of the Clam- Gallas Palace, sculpture and state emblem are printed from depth in the color of dark brown. On the belt at the left edge of the banknote the number "100" and the repetitive microtext "100" is negative. In parallel with the bottom side of the banknote, the text "Counterfeiting BANKNOTES WITH TROUBLE BY LAW 'is placed below. At the lower edge of the banknote, the text" CZECH NATIONAL BANK' is printed in small letters on the left, in the middle of the text "STATE PRINCIPLE OF CENIN, STATE UNDERTAKING, PRAHA 'and on the right the name" MARTIN SRB SC.'. All the specified parts of the printing pattern and fillings of the rotogravure contours are printed by printing from the area in shades of green, ochre, orange, brown and blue.
(2) The upper part of the coupon is printed by printing from the depth of the shades of green and ochre, the number "100" indicating the denomination of the banknote. The area of digits is filled in with a repetitive microtext "100."
(3) The indication of the banknote series 2 in capital letters of the alphabet and the two-digit number and the six-digit serial number of the banknote shall be printed in a horizontal direction lower right on the coupon and vertical direction upper left. Both series descriptions and banknote serial numbers are printed from a height in black.
§ 5
The overprint "SPECIMEN" is shown in the annex to this order.
§ 6
This Decree shall take effect on 30 March 2022.
