CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 28 May 1975
supplementing Article 64 of Constitutional Law No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this constitutional law:
Čl. I
Constitutional Act No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, is amended as follows:
Article 64 shall become paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 shall be added:
"(2) If the President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic cannot exercise his office (paragraph 1) for more than 1 year, the Federal Assembly may elect a new President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic for a new term of office."
Čl. II
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
