DECLARATION
Minister for Finance
of 10 January 1964
determining the amount of the State contribution to cooperative housing construction starting from 1 January 1964
The Minister of Finance, after consulting the Regional National Committees and the participating central offices and authorities, provides, pursuant to § 16 (1) of Act No. 27 / 1959 Coll., on cooperative housing construction:
(1) The average State contribution pursuant to Section 7 (1) of Decree-Law No 94 / 1959 of the Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic on the financing, lending and control of cooperative and corporate housing construction, to 1 flat in cooperative housing construction, beginning on 1 January 1964, amounts to 18090 CZK. *)
(2) The State contribution granted to construction housing cooperatives shall be determined by the size of the flats as follows:

If both indicators of the size of the flat set for the grant of a contribution are not fulfilled, the corresponding lower State contribution shall be granted.
(3) If the interests of the management of housing policy in the region so require, the Regional National Committees may provide for a State contribution of a different amount for the whole region or step it up according to the size of the apartment than referred to in paragraph 2.
(4) The Regional National Committees will provide, for State contributions in whole, an amount higher or lower than the average of the 18090 Cds per apartment (paragraph 1), depending on the actual size of the cooperative flats the construction of which starts in the current year. However, the sum of the State contributions granted in the county, even if the provisions of paragraph 3 are applied, may not exceed the amount which would be attributable to cooperative housing according to the size of the flats and the rates referred to in paragraph 2.
The Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 130 / 1962 Coll., on a State contribution to cooperative housing construction as regards cooperative housing construction launched after 31 December 1963, is hereby repealed.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

*) i.e. at the rate of 30% of the average cost per apartment planned in state construction plus the cost of the project and the land. The budget cost of the apartment in the building is defined by the guidelines of the State Planning Commission No 250 715 / 62 - SM 6 of 21 February 1962.
* *) The area of use of the apartment is the area in terms of project CSN.
