Order of the Minister for Transport
of 25 February 1956
concerning the International Convention for the Carriage of Goods by Rail (CIM) of 25 October 1952 and the International Convention for the Carriage of Passengers and Luggage by Rail (CIV) of 25 October 1952.
The Minister of Transport orders in agreement with the participating ministers pursuant to § 47 of Act No. 97 / 1950 Coll., on Railways:
On 1 March 1956,
(a) the International Convention on the Transport of Goods by Rail (CIM) of 25 October 1952,
(b) the International Convention of 25 October 1952 on the Carriage of Passengers and Luggage by Rail (CIV).
On 1 March 1956,
(a) International Convention on the Carriage of Goods by Rail (M. O. Z.), signed in Rome on 23 November 1933 and published by Decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs No 58 / 1938 Coll.
(b) Additional Convention of 13 May 1950 to the International Convention on the Carriage of Goods by Rail, published pursuant to Regulation No 91 / 1953 of the Minister of Transport Coll. in the Tariffs Journal,
c) International Convention on the Carriage of Passengers and Luggage by Rail (M. O. C.), signed in Rome on 23 November 1933 and published by Decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs No 59 / 1938 Coll.,
including all annexes to these conventions.
The translation of the conventions referred to in § 1 shall be issued by the Ministry of Transport as a separate publication. It shall be announced for sale in the Tariff Bulletin. In the Tariffs Journal, the Ministry of Transport shall also declare a circle of States bound by those Conventions as well as subsequent amendments thereto.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 1956.
