DECLARATION
of 19 November 2025
amending Decree No. 117 / 2018 Coll., on the Test Order and Probation Test
According to Section 37 (1) (f) of Act No. 95 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising professional competence and specialised competence for the exercise of the medical profession of physician, dental practitioner and pharmacist, as amended by Act No. 189 / 2008 Coll. and Act No. 67 / 2017 Coll.:
Decree No 117 / 2018 Coll., on the test order and probation test, is amended as follows:
1. In the title of Section 2, the word "Application," is replaced by "Application, Application,"
2. In Paragraph 2 (2), the first sentence is deleted, the word "Application 'is replaced by the words" Application for recognition of fitness to pursue a medical profession and for the completion of an examination ("application') or an application 'and the words" It may also be submitted on a form published on the Ministry's website' are deleted.
3. In Article 2 (3), the word "written 'is replaced by the word" relevant'.

5. In Article 2, the following paragraph 5 is added:
"(5) The Ministry shall assign candidates to perform the oral and probation examinations if the candidate has completed professional practice at least 2 months before the first day of the examination period concerned and, at the same time, within 5 calendar days of the completion of the professional experience, it shall provide the Ministry with a certificate of completion. ';
6. In Paragraph 4 (2), "70 'is replaced by" 60'.
7. In Paragraph 4 (3), "50 'is replaced by" 15' and "70 'is replaced by" 60'.
8. In Paragraph 4 (4), "50 'is replaced by" 20'.
9. In Article 4, the following paragraph 6 is inserted after paragraph 5:
"(6) For the outcome of the written part of the probation test, the tenderer may, in written form, raise reasoned objections to the entrusted organisation showing the professional facts of the written part of the probation test, within 3 working days of the date of completion of the written part of the examination. The designated organisation shall deal with the applicant's objections in writing within 10 working days and shall then issue an addendum to the protocol, indicating whether the tenderer has" benefited "or" failed "after the examination has been carried out, and shall include the addendum to the tender's statement of objections. ';
Paragraphs 6 and 7 shall be renumbered paragraphs 7 and 8.
10. in Article 4 (8), the text "Article 1 (4)" is replaced by the text "Article 1 (3)."
11. in Article 5 (3) (d), the words "content and" shall be deleted and the words "professional practice" shall be replaced by the words "practical part and probation test."
12. in Article 7 (3), the word "only" shall be replaced by "either" and the words "professional practice" shall be inserted after the words "doctors, dental practitioners or pharmacists acting as head of the health service provider for which the candidate has passed the practical part of the probation test;"
13. in Article 9 (2) (a), the word "working" shall be deleted;
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2026.
