GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 November 2020
amending Government Regulation No 71 / 2013 Coll., on the conditions for evaluating the results of research, experimental development and innovation, as amended by Government Regulation No 66 / 2016 Coll.
The Government mandates, pursuant to Article 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll., to implement § 3 (3) (e) of Act No. 130 / 2002 Coll., on the promotion of research, experimental development and innovation from public funds and on the amendment of certain related laws (Act on the promotion of research, experimental development and innovation), as amended by Act No. 110 / 2009 Coll.:
Government Regulation No. 71 / 2013 Coll., on the conditions for evaluating the results of research, experimental development and innovation, as amended by Government Regulation No. 66 / 2016 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Article 1 (1) (a):
"(a) the government as:
1. national government prize in the form of a financial award of CZK 1 000 000,
2nd prize of government awarded to a student in the form of a financial award of CZK 50,000, "
2. In the first sentence of Paragraph 1 (2), the words "or the price of government to a gifted student" shall be inserted after the word "government."
3. in Article 3, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) When selecting a candidate for the award of a government award to a student, the Council assesses in particular the quality and benefit of the results of its research, experimental development and innovation."
Paragraphs 2 and 3 shall become paragraphs 3 and 4.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2021.
