GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 19 December 2001
on the occupation of soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic in the period 1 January 2002 to 31 March 2002
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 paragraph 3 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to § 50a of Act No. 283 / 1991 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 26 / 1993 Coll.:
For the performance of the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in ensuring the protection of the entire range of national borders of the Czech Republic, for the performance of the tasks of the Order and Protection Service of the Police of the Czech Republic in the Czech Republic in the period from 1 January 2002 to 31 March 2002, a maximum of 1 500 soldiers in active service shall be used.
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment, to carry out their duties under Section 1.
Decree of the Government No. 348 / 2001 Coll., on the occupation of soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic to perform the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the period up to 31 December 2001 is hereby repealed.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2002.
