Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 23 July 1957
on the issue of 1 Ccs coins.
The Minister of Finance declares, pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on the financial reform:
§ 1
On 2 September 1957, a 1-CZK coin (hereinafter referred to as "coins') shall be circulated.
§ 2
(1) The coin is rolled from aluminium bronze consisting of 91 copper parts, 8 aluminium parts and 1 manganese part. From a kilogram of coin metal, 250 coins are rolled. The diameter of the coin is 23 mm and its edge is grafted.
(2) The coin stamping should be as accurate as possible. If this cannot be fully achieved, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 15 / 1000, in aluminium content 1% and in manganese content 0,2%.
§ 3
On the face of the coin is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVSKÁ" in one row with two lime leaves, among which is the year of production. On the back is a picture of a woman who places her right hand in the ground of the linden and holds the seedling of the lip and the spade against the ground in her left hand. The value of the coin is "1" above the inserted lash. Under the painting is the name of the author "M. Kučová."
§ 4
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
