Government Regulation
of 23 May 1950
establishing a Ministry of National Security.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders, with the consent of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 1 of the Constitutional Act No. 47 / 1950 Coll., on adaptations in the organisation of public administration:
The Ministry of National Security is hereby established.
(1) The Ministry of National Security has carried out national security tasks which have so far belonged to the Ministry of Interior and which have been carried out in Slovakia through the delegation of the Interior.
(2) The detailed definition of these tasks will be carried out by the Ministry of National Security and which continue to belong to the Ministry of Interior by the Ministers of Interior and National Security.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; All members of the government will do it.
