GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 November 2020
amending Government Regulation No 240 / 2014 Coll., on the amount of time fees, toll rates, toll discounts and the procedure for applying the toll discount
The Government orders pursuant to Article 46 (1) of Act No. 13 / 1997 Coll., on Road, as amended by Act No. 80 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 152 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 196 / 2012 Coll. and Act No. 227 / 2019 Coll.:
Government Decree No. 240 / 2014 Coll., on the amount of time fees, toll rates, toll discounts and the procedure for applying the toll discount is amended as follows:
1. footnotes 3 and 4 are deleted;
2. Sections 2 and 3, including the headings, read:
Amount of the time fee
(1) The time charge for a vehicle in a time charging system, if not a vehicle fuelled with natural gas or biomethane, is:
(a) for the year CZK 1,500,
b) for 30 days 440 CZK,
c) for 10 days 310 CZK.
(2) The time charge for a vehicle in a time charging system driven by natural gas or biomethane is:
(a) for the year 750 CZK,
b) for 30 days 220 CZK,
c) for 10 days 155 CZK.
Resolution and toll rates
(1) Toll rates are broken down by:
(a) infrastructure categories for user tariffs
1. motorway; or
2nd First Class Road,
(b) category of vehicle at rates for:
1. vehicles in an electronic toll system with the exception of vehicles of categories M2 and M3; or
2. vehicles of categories M2 and M3,
(c) emission classes for vehicles
1. to EURO IV class;
Class 2 EURO V and EEV,
3. EURO VI class, with the exception of vehicles fuelled by natural gas or biomethane; or
4. EURO VI class driven by natural gas or biomethane,
(d) the maximum authorised mass of the vehicle or combination for the rates for vehicles or vehicles of mass
1. more than 3,5 tonnes and less than 7,5 tonnes;
2. at least 7,5 tonnes and less than 12 tonnes, or
3. at least 12 tonnes,
(e) the number of axles of a vehicle or combination for the rates for vehicles or combinations of vehicles
1. with 2 axles,
2. with 3 axles,
3. with 4 axles, or
4. with 5 or more axles, and
(f) the period of the day for tariffs for the use of the infrastructure by the vehicle at a time
1. between 5.00 and 22.00, or
2: 00 to 5: 00.
(2) Toll rates for use
(a) the motorways for vehicles in an electronic toll system with the exception of vehicles of categories M2 and M3 are listed in Annex 1 to this Regulation;
(b) the first-class roads for vehicles in an electronic toll system with the exception of vehicles of categories M2 and M3 are listed in Annex 2 to this Regulation;
(c) the motorways for vehicles of categories M2 and M3 are listed in Annex 3 to this Regulation; and
(d) Class I roads for vehicles of categories M2 and M3 are listed in Annex 4 to this Regulation. "
3. Article 4 shall be deleted, including the title.
4. In Paragraph 5 (1), the words "tolls levied overall during this period 'are replaced by the words" parts of tolls levied overall to recover the costs incurred in charging infrastructure ("tolls discount') '.
5. In Paragraph 5 (2) of the Introductory Part of the provision, the words "toll imposed 'are replaced by the words" toll levied to recover the costs incurred in the toll infrastructure'.
6. In Paragraph 5 (2) (a), the amount "75 000 CZK" is replaced by "65 000 CZK" and the number "5" is replaced by "6."
7. In Paragraph 5 (2) (b), the amount "CZK 110,000" is replaced by "CZK 95 000" and the number "8" is replaced by "EUR 9."
8. In Paragraph 5 (2) (c), the amount "CZK 190 000" is replaced by "CZK 170 000."
9. In § 5 (2) (d), the amount "300 000 CZK" is replaced by "270 000 CZK."
10. in Article 5 (3), the words "imposed tolls" are replaced by the words "part of tolls imposed."
11. Annex 1 shall read as follows:

The toll rates for the use of the motorway for vehicles in the electronic toll system, excluding M2 and M3 vehicles, shall be:
