of 12 March 2014
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of Bohumil Hrabal's birth
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 26 March 2014, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the author Bohumil Hrabal is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as "the two hundred koruna").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,35 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
§ 2
(1) On the front of the two-hundred crown is the motive of railway tracks that pass into the silhouette of the female body. There are two stamps at the bottom of the two-hundredth crown referring to Hrabal's book "Strictly tracked trains." At the left, upper and right edges of the two hundred crown, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC." The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is in the middle of the image of the tracks at the upper edge of the two hundred crowns. The Czech Mint brand consisting of the compositions of the letters "No" and "M" is to the left of the left stamp.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is a portrait of Bohumil Hrabal. The text "BOHUMIL HRABAL" is part of the lower part of the portrait at the left, lower and right edges of the two hundred crowns. The number "1914" is above the collar of the portrait and the year "2014" is on the collar of the portrait. Above the depiction of the years is the mark of the author of the two hundred crown, academic sculptor Vladimir Oppl.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decree takes effect on 26 March 2014.
