DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade
of 19 March 1974
amending Decree No 3 / 1959 of the Foreign Trade Minister Ú. l., on the establishment of a company Polytechna, a foreign trade firm for the mediation of technical cooperation, as amended by Decree No 32 / 1961 Coll.
The Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade provides in an agreement with the Federal Ministry of Finance pursuant to § 2 and 20 of Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on the State Organisation of Foreign Trade and International Shipyard:
Decree of the Minister for Foreign Trade No 3 / 1959 Ú. l, on the establishment of the company Polytechna, a foreign trade firm for technical cooperation mediation, as amended by Article III of Decree of the Minister for Foreign Trade No 32 / 1961 Coll., is amended as follows:
Paragraph 3 reads as follows:
"(1) The activity of the company is to conduct business in contact with foreign persons in the following fields:
(a) brokering or procuring the purchase and sale of industrial rights, such as patents, trademarks, industrial designs, unpatented technical knowledge, experience and recipes (known-how) and the conclusion of licensing and similar agreements on them;
(b) brokering or procuring of exports and imports of technical projects and other documentation, such as production drawings, technological processes and recipes;
(c) brokering or procuring the export and import of research, development, engineering, consultancy and services;
(d) brokering or procuring of exports and imports of works related to basic geological research and search for all kinds, including technical work related thereto;
(e) brokering or procuring of exports and imports of technical services without physical supply, in particular in the field of testing, experiments and other custom works on technological equipment, projects and programmes in the field of automated information and management systems;
(f) the exclusive provision and brokering of scientific and technical assistance, and in the framework of it, the transmission and reception of scientific and technical experts and the brokering of manufacturing technical practice;
(g) exclusive commercial provision and mediation of scientific and technological cooperation on the basis of inter-state agreements;
(h) the exclusive provision of trade relations with UN bodies and other international organisations in the field of designated services.
(2) The undertaking shall be entitled to carry out all other activities directly related to its activity.
(3) The activities referred to in paragraph 1 may be defined in detail by a special measure by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade.
(4) In the course of the business activity referred to in paragraph 1, Polytechnic shall, depending on the nature of the contract, either in the name and on behalf of the domestic organisation (s) or in its name and on behalf of the domestic organisation or in its own name and on its own account. ';
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
