on the provision of recruitment allowances and other formalities for staff of national enterprises Slovak magnesite plants, Košice and Báňská buildings, Prievidza
According to Article 43 (2) of Act No. 133 / 1970 Coll., on the jurisdiction of federal ministries, the Federal Ministry of Mettics and Engineering provides, in accordance with the Resolution of the Bureau of the Government of the CSSR of 25 May 1972 No 182, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and with the Czechoslovak Federal Committee of Trade Unions of Mining and Energy Workers:
§ 1
Scope
The decree provides for the provision of recruitment allowances and other formalities for staff recruited by the National Committees for National Enterprises of the Slovak Magnesite Plant, Košice and Mining Construction, Prievidza ("the workers').
§ 2
General conditions for the provision of recruitment allowances and other formalities
(1) Recruitment allowances and other formalities are granted to workers in accordance with the conditions laid down in Decree of 9 March 1959 No 57 / 1959 of the Ú. l., on the formalities to be given to workers recruited by the Labour Union, Health and Social Security of the District National Committees, unless otherwise specified.
(2) Recruitment allowances and other formalities are granted to workers working underground and on the surface (see paragraph 4).
(3) The recruitment allowance and other formalities are not granted to workers transferring from the undertaking to the undertaking within the production unit.
(4) For the purposes of the Decree, undertakings and establishments shall be classified in the following groups:
I. group: Slovak magnesite races, Košice
- Lubenik race
- Jelshava race
- Košice race
The formalities shall be provided to workers working in the depths in the production of magnesite.
Group II:
1. Slovak Magnesite Race, Košice
Forms are provided to workers during mining in other plants outside the plants listed in the I. group and workers working on the surface in the plants Lubenik, Jelšava and Košice.
2. Mining buildings, Prievidza
The formalities are provided to workers working on mining works.
§ 3
Provision of recruitment allowances
(1) Workers who are entitled to a recruitment allowance and who are engaged in employment in the undertakings referred to in § 1 shall receive a recruitment allowance (in Kčs):
(a) on the conclusion of an indefinite contract, but for at least three years, of:

(b) where a contract of employment is concluded for a period of at least one year, up to three years, of:

(2) The recruitment allowance is granted to staff recruited by national and regional recruitment.
§ 4
Provision of other formalities
(1) Workers shall be remunerated for the duration of training according to the yield of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of 1 June 1971 on the remuneration of workers during training.
(2) Family aid is granted subject to the conditions laid down in Section 6 of Order No 57 / 1959 of the Úl of 8 Kčs for each calendar day of employment.
(3) If the worker is forced to reside separately from his family household in connection with the employment, he will be allowed a visit to the family and paid a discounted fare to the place of residence of the family and back, once every six weeks and free once every four months.
(4) The staff recruited by the national committees shall be entitled to reimbursement of the fare for taking up employment and returning to the place of permanent residence after completion of the contract of employment as well as the right to subsistence, if the journey is longer than 2 hours, of 20 CZK and if it is longer than 10 hours, of 40 CZK. In diets are included diets and lost earnings during days of travel.
The details of the payment of the fare and the diets are set out in Sections 2 and 3 of Ú. l.
§ 5
General provisions
(1) If the worker goes without fault before the dates referred to in Article 9 (1) of Decree No 57 / 1959 Úl, on the formalities to be provided for staff recruited by the labour force, the health and social security departments of the county national committees, the worker is obliged to return the recruitment allowance which he has received, at an amount corresponding to the time for which the contract of employment has not been fulfilled and also to pay the cost of the transfer.
(2) If the worker has given cause for immediate release, he shall be obliged to repay all contributions granted to the undertaking, except for family support, without prejudice to liability under the general rules.
§ 6
Efficacy
The decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
