of 30 September 1992
on the issue of commemorative silver 500 crowns for the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovak tennis
According to § 27 (a) of Act No. 22 / 1992 Coll., on the State Bank of Czechoslovak:
(1) On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the first tennis club in the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, commemorative silver five hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "five hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) The five hundred korona is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 crown is 24g, its diameter is 40 mm. On the edge of the 500 crown is the embossed inscription "TENIS TENIS TENIS." A tolerance of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 shall be allowed for the embossing of the five hundred crowns.
(1) On the face of the five hundred crown is the state emblem of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic. The name of the State "CZECH AND SLOVAK FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC 'is given in two lines under the national emblem. Under the name of the State is the designation of the value" 500 CZK. "
(2) On the back of a 500 crown, the figure of a tennis player is moving with a tennis racket in both hands. The figure of a tennis player is in the background of the lower left part of the coin accompanied by a symbolic picture of the architecture of the Central Tennis Court of Štvanice in Prague. The inscription "CZECH TENIS 1893-1993" in two rows is placed at the top of the coin. The author of the design is the academic sculptor Ladislav Kozák. The initials of his name "LK" are placed at the bottom edge of the coin to the right of the heel of the left foot tennis player.
This Decree shall take effect on 30 December 1992.
