Communication from the Czech Statistical Office No. 467 / 2024 Coll.

The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to § 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, as amended, announces with effect from 1 January 2026 the termination of the compulsory application of the Classification of position in employment (CZ- ICSE) for statistical surveys, issued by the Communication of the Czech Statistical Office No. 494 / 2003 Coll., of 18 December 2003, to the issue of the Classification of position in employment (CZ- ICSE), for the purpose of the survey of data on employment in national conditions. For this purpose, the Classification of position in employment (CZ- ICSE) will be replaced by the National Classification of position in employment (NKPZ) established by the Communication of the Czech Statistical Office No 401 / 2024 Coll., of 11 December 2024 on the introduction of the National Classification of position in employment (NKPZ).

In order to ensure international comparability, the International Classification of Status in Employment (ICSE) will continue to be updated in accordance with the International Classification of Status in Employment (ICSE).

A one-way converter will be drawn up between the National Classification of Employment (NKPZ) and the Classification of Employment (CZ- ICSE).
