DECLARATION
of 7 December 2021
amending Decree No 537 / 2006 Coll., on vaccination against infectious diseases, as amended
The Ministry of Health provides, pursuant to Article 108 (1) of Act No. 258 / 2000 Coll., on the Protection of Public Health and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts, as amended by Act No. 274 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 274 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 392 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 222 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 151 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 223 / 2013 Coll., Act No. 267 / 2015 Coll., Act No. 202 / 2017 Coll. and Act No. 205 / 2020 Coll., for the implementation of Section 46 (1) and (6):
Decree No. 537 / 2006 Coll., on vaccination against infectious diseases, as amended by Decree No. 65 / 2009 Coll., Decree No. 443 / 2009 Coll., Decree No. 299 / 2010 Coll., Decree No. 40 / 2016 Coll. and Decree No. 355 / 2017 Coll., are amended as follows:
1. in Article 2 (1) (a), the words "and against viral hepatitis B" shall be replaced by "against viral hepatitis B and against covid-19 disease."
2. in Article 2 (1) (b), the words "and against rabies" shall be replaced by the words "against rabies and against disease covid-19."
3. In Paragraph 2 (2) of the Introductory Part of the provision, the word "regular 'is deleted.

Regular vaccination against covid-19 disease
(1) Vaccination against covid-19 disease is carried out with a natural person who has completed 60 years of age. The primary vaccination shall start no later than 4 months after the age of 60. The primary vaccination and any re-vaccination shall be carried out at the number of doses and time intervals between doses according to the Summary of Product Characteristics for the vaccine.
(2) Where a natural person has been vaccinated against covid-19 disease before the age of 60, the primary vaccination shall be completed or, where appropriate, re-vaccination shall be carried out within a time interval between doses according to the Summary of Product Characteristics for the vaccine or, if the interval has already expired, within 4 months of the age of 60. ';
5. The following Section 10a is inserted after Section 10:
Special vaccination against covid-19 disease
(1) Specific vaccination against covid-19 disease should be carried out in natural persons who:
(a) provide health services or are employees of the health service provider;
(b) provide or participate in social services;
(c) are persons preparing to pursue a medical profession with a health service provider or persons preparing to pursue a professional activity under Section 115 of the Social Services Act if they are conducting practical training with a social service provider;
(d) are employees or civil servants of the Czech Republic who are assigned to perform the work or are assigned to perform the public service at the Regional Health Station;
(e) in the Security Corps, they perform or are employees of the Czech Republic assigned to the Security Corps;
(f) are employees of a municipality assigned to the municipal police,
(g) are members of the unit of the voluntary fire department of the municipality or the unit of the voluntary fire department of the undertaking or of the staff of the fire brigade of the undertaking;
(h) are professional or active reserve soldiers; or
(i) are members of the intelligence service or employees of the Czech Republic who are included in the work of the intelligence service.
(2) The primary vaccination and any re-vaccination for the natural persons referred to in paragraph 1 shall be carried out at the number of doses and time intervals between doses according to the summary of product characteristics for the vaccine.
(3) Where a natural person referred to in paragraph 1 has been vaccinated against covid-19 disease before being required to undergo a specific vaccination against covid-19 as referred to in paragraph 1, the primary vaccination shall be completed or, where appropriate, re-vaccination shall be carried out within a time interval between doses according to the Summary of Product Characteristics for the vaccine or, if that interval has already expired, within 4 months of the date on which it became required under paragraph 1. ';
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on the day following that of its publication.
